Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia Invertebrate Paleontology Database: Searchable database of invertebrate fossil holdings at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia.

UCMP On-Line Collections Database: Search for catalogued localities and specimens held in the University of California Museum of Paleontology. Includes plants, invertebrates, vertebrates and microfossils.

UF Vertebrate Paleontology Databases: On-line, searchable databases of over 200,000 specimens in the collection of the Florida Museum of Natural History, Gainesville.

New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science Web-based Paleo-database Home Page: Search the fossil collections of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. Listings by Kingdom down to species, era, epoch, group, formation, country, New Mexico county, and map ID. Many listings contain images of the fossils (including all holotypes.)

Neogene Marine Biota of Tropical America: NMITA is an online biotic database containing images and data for taxa used in analyses of Tropical American Biodiversity over the past 25 million years. NMITA is designed for use in research and education in systematics and evolutionary paleontology. Major fossil groups included are bryozoans, corals, molluscs, ostracodes, and fish. Users may browse or search images and information about taxa or click on maps and stratigraphic columns for faunal lists for specific horizons. NMITA also provides several educational activities.

New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science: Visit our new "Paleo Portal", NMfossils.org. Now includes a "PHOTO GALLERY" of over 1,500 specimens in our collection with links to our Paleo Database. And links to many resources.

Paleobiology Database: An NSF funded project to compile occurrence data on fossils on a global basis. Useable by the whole community. One target is to provide data for a global sample-standardized evaluation of the fossil record.

MioMap: Miocene Mammal Mapping Project: MioMap integrates Geographic Information System (GIS) with a detailed Miocene database to provide comprehensive spatial and temporal analysis of Miocene mammal taxa for the Western United States.

The Paleointegration Project: The PaleoIntegration Project (PIP) is facilitating interoperability between global-scale fossil and sedimentary rock databases (e.g. The Paleobiology Database and the Paleogeographic Atlas Project), enabling a greater understanding of the life, geography and climate of our planet throughout the Phanerozoic. Databases can be searched via text and interactive maps, and by any combination of age, location, or content. Results can be plotted on present- and paleo- maps or downloaded for detailed analyses.

Division of Invertebrate Paleontology, Natural History Museum & Biodiversity Center, University of Kansas: Search the online database (includes trace fossils, microfossils, and macrofossils), view image galleries, and find out more about the division's fossil collections.
